Welcome to the Youth Ministry page at Community United Methodist Church of Oldsmar. Youth, grades 6 through 12, come together to have fun while learning about God. We meet from 6:00 to 8:00 on Wednesday nights at the Youth House, across the street from the church.

Do you want to get right with God?
There is lots of noise going on in the world and lots of pressure to conform to a society that is off track. We show that it is OK to know about Jesus and it is a good thing to have a relationship with God.

YEARLY EVENTS
Acquire the Fire (ATF)
For several years now the youth have attended this awesome Youth Convention held here in the Tampa Bay area. It lasts Friday night thru Saturday night. With a Lock-in on Friday Night at the church. Check out the ATF website at www.battlecry.com.
Youth Week
Every summer just before school starts the youth plan an outing for every night of the week. In the past we have done, Movie Night, Paint Ball, Buc’s Training Camp, Swim Party, Laser Tag, Bowling, Skating, Baseball Games, and end the week with a Lock-in at the Youth House.
This is a very special weekend for youth, ages 15 -18. Chrysalis is 72 hour retreat where teens eat like royalty, hang out with their peers, and have an opportunity to experience God at a new level. There are talks, songs, games and all kinds of Christian fun.
